Regardless of the previous reviews the receptionists are really helpful. I've found anyway. Very accommodating and helpful with getting appointments to a surgery that is one GP down.
Just been told there are no appointments available for the rest of the month... today is the 14th, receptionist was unapologetic and accusing me of shouting at her over the phone. Ridiculous, Id recommend avoiding this practice.
After being with the practice for several years I received a letter saying I was taken off Dr birkmyres list because I missed an appointment yes I understand doctors don't have time to waste but circumstances through 3 critical operations after years of complaining about tummy problems lead to my family being told not to expect me to live should I have had intence investigations long ago?. Well we won't debate that the whole point after I got out of hospital because I was in an indused coma for a few weeks I had to learn how to walk again my speech was affected and most of all my memory.sometimes I still don't know what day of the week it is. So is it right with all I am going through I get kicked out of the practice the g p should understand all the side affects from my time in hospital. Since now got another doctor lets see what happens here.
