Stayed at kings park for two nights recently. Cannot say enough about the staff working there.Gary was so friendly ,accommodating and really kind to us, hes a star! Mark the night porter couldn't have been nicer and looked after us so well and was great to chat to. Lovely waitress Caitlyn looked after us even though she was so busy. They are an asset to this hotel and made our stay a very welcoming and enjoyable experience!
Simply cannot believe that hotels like this are allowed to exist. Mouldy rooms; showers that run either scolding hot or freezing cold; drinks that mysteriously disappear when half full; and a comically pathetic choice for breakfast. So far the worst hotel experience I've had and I hope it stays that way!
Rude staff, just arrived and police were there for an incident. Asked a staff member for a drink and they told me to "ask her" pointing to another staff member and walked off. The place was quiet so she could easily have got it for me or said to the staff member herself. Hairdriers are pathetic, better results if you stood outside. There are a lot of better hotels out there in the area, avoid this one.
The place is nice. And is a good run for your buck. However there were some negatives1. The ground floor gets coveted to a night club and the entire floor vibrates till very late in the night. It's really hard to sleep in that situation. 2. I felt the toilet commode was a bit too close to the wall but then again it was still usable.3. The place is a bit dated but then that's a good thing in a easy I suppose.
Great Food and great value for money.Have been here on a number of occasions for breakfast, lunch and dinner.The food is of a great standard and the meal deals are fantastic value for money - good selection to choose from and the portion sizes are fab.The staff are very friendly and the restaurant is very welcoming and relaxing with lovely views of the park across the road.Have still to try out their Sunday roast deal but will be doing this soon.Well worth a visit for something to eat.
